10/01/2011 Target Brand up & up™ Baby Diapers
In any family that has an infant, diapers are a pretty big deal for the parents of said infant. Whether you decide to use cloth diapers or disposable, you've gotta figure out what's best for you. In our family, we were given SO many packages of disposable diapers that we just decided to use the disposables until they run out (believe it or not, we still have a supply left!). Dan and I have definitely used a wide variety of brands at this point. This review is for our least favorite brand of diapers: Target's store brand, up & up™ Baby Diapers. I love Target for a variety of reasons, but I am not a happy camper when it comes to their diapers. The price of the diapers is the best thing about them ($6.29 for Jumbo packs). For my daughter, they don't fit her very well... the waist is just too big (and no, changing the size of the diaper doesn't help). The tabs also have a tendency to come undone pretty easily now that she's moving a lot more. The absorbancy is terrible. Poopy diapers leak around the legs and/or up my poor baby's back :-( You have to get them on JUST right for them to hold what they need to hold. The look is a basic polka dot design, nothing special. The texture could be softer. I would not recommend these diapers; in this case, you definitely get what you pay for. By star rating: 2 out of 5, By school grades: D. Sorry Target, I still love your store!
